Check your equipment before curling:

            Brooms

                        Clean heads

                        Replace old hair brooms

            Grippers

                        Replace if rubber is fraying

            Stabilizers       

                        Make sure sliding tabs are tight and square to ice so as not to scratch the ice

            Learn to pebble before doing it!
